A Lovely Day

Yesterday was such a lovely day for so many different reasons.

It was a beautiful sunny day and the birds were singing all their happy, springtime songs. Even though it was a bit chilly, their chirping made me smile.

I had a nice conversation with my mother on the phone and she never fails to make me laugh. Thanks Mom!! You're the best! I love you! :D

Then I learned my 18k gold hoop earrings had been featured on this gorgeous blog by Lillyella.

After I picked up the boy from school, we went for his allergy shot (which by the way is going well. Not seeing any big results yet, but he's on his way). When he had done all his homework, we then took a little trip with Barney to get some dog food at Petco. Barney loves going to Petco. He always has a wonderful time there seeing all the people and making new friends. He always gets petted and gets his belly rubbed. He's such a sweet boy.

He paraded through the store with his head held high and his tail just wagging. He had a smile on his face the entire time!

And finally, (no, I didn't win the lottery. The Powerball isn't until Wednesday night!), my boy gave me the biggest hug for no reason whatsoever! I just love him. :)

It was a lovely day. I think spring has something to do with it. It just makes everybody and everything seem a little better.
