Discovery

Today he discovered he could climb up on the counter.

today he discovered he could climb up on the counter

I made him sad when I told him to get down.

I made him sad by telling him to get down - sized

He knows better.

he knows better - sized

He was having so much fun discovering what it's like to be 'big'.

I felt bad for raining on his parade.

[Flashback to being a kid on mom's kitchen counters.]

So I let him get back up...

wash your feet first

...I made him wash his feet first.

I love this post; with the photographs spaced out, it reads like a poem.

And it makes me want to climb up on the countertops, too.

I saw your comment on lovegemma's site. Have you checked out Penland School of Crafts, near Asheville? I know of other craft schools too and can give you some names and websites if you need them.

LOL...my girls do this all the time. It's the only way for them to reach the snack cabinet. LOL!

ryc- It is hard to travel to classes, or even to take a regular class with you have a child. They need us! Some of the schools have childrens programs, so the parent and child can each take a class. I know Touchstone, in Pennsylvania, does that. I think it's great that they make it possible for parents (mostly moms) to take classes while the kids take their own class.
